Training Delivered
In FY2007 before my arrival they delivered training to 3,292 volunteers and staff, that was down from the previous FY2006 of 9,638 (Katrina and Rita). During my term as Director of Disaster Training we taught FY2008 5,898 (staff of 8), FY09 5,748 (staff of 5), and FY10 5,494 (staff of 3). Likewise, during my term as Director Drills & Exercises, they did FY06 4 exercises and FY07 2 exercises, while I delivered FY08 27, FY09 32, and in FY10 12 exercises. First time there has been an ARC NY State Exercise of a Disaster Relief Operation HQ, and a 9-Shelter Exercise for ARC/GNY. American Red Cross in Greater New York
